USING Em CLEAN AS A MOULD REMOVER
WHEN TREATING MOULD ALWAYS WEAR A PROTECTIVE MASK
If you have mould on your leather furniture Em Clean is a quick and easy to use solution. It is easy to clean mould spores off the surface of the leather but generally speaking these will simply return if the mould is not ‘killed’. Em Clean will effectively kill the mould (except in very severe cases when an alternative product may be required) and prevent its return.
Firstly, clean the mould from the surface of the leather, then spray a liberal amount of Em Clean over the affected area and leave. Check after 24 hours to see if it has returned - if it has then repeat the process.
Em Clean can be used on all types of leather although extra care must be taken on Nubuck and Suede to ensure that water spotting does not occur. A very fine mist should be used on Nubuck and Suede and several applications may be required.
Em Clean is also safe to use on fabrics.
Severe cases of mould may leave the leather stained or pitted - this is a separate problem and needs a technical solution - Em Clean will not solve this kind of damage
USING Em CLEAN AS AN ODOUR ELIMINATOR
Em Clean can be used to eradicate odours from leather and is particularly useful in cases of cigarette smoke.
It can also be used in cases of urine (pet or human) where it will kill the bacteria which is associated with these type of problems and thus leave a clean and fresh smelling leather.
